MCP pricing FAQ

How much does MCP cost?
The Model Context Protocol itself is an open standard and costs nothing to use. What carries a cost is access to commercial MCP servers. On MCP Hive that starts at $19.99 per month for the Starter plan, which includes 8,000 MCP calls - roughly $0.0025 per call. Professional is $39.99 per month for 16,000 calls, and Enterprise starts at $249.99 per month.
What are MCP Hive's fees?
Your monthly subscription is the only fee for standard access. There is no setup fee and no separate per call fee for the participating MCP servers included in your plan. Some priced MCP servers set their own per call cost, which is shown during discovery before a call is made. On the provider side, MCP Hive retains 30% of what a server earns and pays out the remaining 70%.
How do MCP credits work?
The Professional and Enterprise plans include $20 per month in credits for priced MCP servers. Credits are applied automatically as those per call costs are incurred, so you only draw on them when you use a server that charges beyond the subscription. Enterprise can keep calling past the credit on pay-as-you-go, under a spending cap you set.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. All three plans include a 30-day free trial, and you can cancel at any point during it from your account dashboard.
What happens if I exceed my monthly call allowance?
Your console tracks calls used and calls remaining for the current billing period, and the allowance resets each period. If you are regularly reaching the limit, you can move up a plan at any time. Enterprise adds capacity in increments of 8,000 MCP calls for $20 per month.
